2/14/2013 NEXT MEETING: February 26, 2013, at 7pm in room 229 (Emerson Room) of CBW
9/26/12 NEXT MEETING: October 8, 2012, at 7pm in room 127 CBW.
RECAP/NEW NEWS: Last meeting we discussed that we will need 2 hours of community service on campus and 2 hours off campus. Keep State Great is October 20, and is a great way to give back to NMSU. Our next fundraiser will be a Halloween themed bake sale on October 24. The Student Leadership Conference is November 3.
We are trying to get a book club going, so if you are interested, contact Alex (alexdp@nmsu.edu) for more information.
The Writer's Workshop meeting is November 5, 2012.
9/19/12 NEXT MEETING: September 24, 2012 at 7pm in room 127 CBW (NOTE NEW LOCATION). After business is discussed, we will be playing a fun game to get to know each other.
BAKE SALE: September 24, 2012, on the I-Mall in front of the English building. 10-2pm. Please bring by any baked goods before noon, and if you can help table for a bit, we need help selling the baked goods.
9/9/12 NEXT MEETING: September 10, 2012 at 7pm in the Emerson room (CBW 229). This first meeting of the semester will inform members of what this coming semester will hold. We will discuss fundraisers, community service, and projects.

2/27/12 NEXT MEETING: March 7, 2012 at 7pm in the Emerson room (CBW 229). We will be hosting a workshop for papers and discussing the National Undergraduate Literature Conference.
FUNDRAISING: EUSO is holding a bake sale March 7 from 9am to 2pm in front of the English building. We are looking for volunteers to help run the table during those times. Please contact alexdp@nmsu.edu if you can volunteer.

10/6/11 NEXT MEETING: October 11, 2011 at 7pm in the Emerson Room. We will be discussing applying for graduate school.
CONFERENCE: The NULC has set the conference on April 5-7 2012, and submissions open Dec. 15 and close January 25. If you are interested in attending the conference and would like funding, come to the meeting for more info!

9/17/11 PROJECT: We are currently working on a project with another NMSU student in the HRTM department to develop characters for a haunted house. Philip Hernandez has created an amazing haunted house project called The Asylum, the theme for this year. The English Undergraduate Student Organization is working on writing character scripts for the actors. To get involved, click here.
SIDE PROJECT: We are looking for members to work on an alumni newsletter for the English Department, and for students at NMSU. If you are interested in writing an article about an alumni, or about EUSO, contact us using the form below.
